PDR Analysis Introduction
According to William Greider [Who Will Tell the People? The Betrayal of American Democracy, a 1992], the Reagan-Bush administration was a bonanza for multi-national corporations. Laws were enacted across the board that limited corporate liability in the areas of environmental and human health standards. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act of 1986 was a perfect example of this type of liability limiting legislation. Quoted as follows:
“No vaccine manufacturer shall be liable in a civil action for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death associated with the administration of a vaccine after the effective date of this part (1986) solely do to the manufacturer's failure to provide direct warnings to the injured party (or the injured party's legal representative) of the potential dangers resulting from the administration of the vaccine manufactured by the manufacturer.” [Public Health Service Act, Section 2122, Direct Warnings]
Consequently, if a baby dies or suffers serious injury from vaccination and the parents want to sue the doctor or drug company, if the injury is described as a possible side effect of vaccinations in the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR), the parents cannot sue. It was their fault because they did not read the “fine print” in the package insert. The fact that pharmaceutical companies and doctors who profit financially from vaccine administration are not obligated by law to warn parents of the serious vaccination side effects, breakthrough rates and lack of long-term studies as portrayed in the PDR seems to be in violation of the Nuremberg Code.
Doctors will commonly dismiss these documented side effects, such as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) as rarely ever happening. However, in 1975, Japan passed a law prohibiting any baby from being vaccinated under the age of two. The immediate result of that action is that Japan went from number 17 in infant mortality to number one with the lowest infant mortality rate in the world. Thirteen years later they allowed infants to be vaccinated again and the infant mortality rate went up. In 1998, Japan overturned all of its mandatory vaccination laws. If we follow the example of Japan we will get the same results. [Vaccinations, Viera Scheibner, Ph. D., a 1993, pp.46-47.]
According to Government Statistics, the number of infant deaths in the US for the year 1998 was 28,325. This comes out to 77 babies per day. If the vast majority of these deaths can be prevented by not vaccinating as was the case in Japan, the real number of babies dying from vaccinations may be very large. From January 1990 to November 2001, the Government Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) has recorded 5,032 deaths from vaccination. It is commonly accepted that only 10% of vaccine deaths and injuries are reported to VAERS. Consequently, over the last 11 years, the real number of vaccine induced deaths could be 50,000 or more.
The Physicians' Desk Reference cites the following list of vaccine ingredients including aluminum, formaldehyde, mercury, horse feces, aborted human fetuses, chicken embryo, ground up encephalitic mouse brains etc. We go to great trouble to keep all of these poisons and toxins out of our drinking water and yet when we take this filth and inject it directly into the bloodstream of an infant whose brain is still developing we use a double standard.
According to the Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR) no long term testing for efficacy or safety has ever been done on any vaccination. Short term testing is done on very small samples for a very short time and often with an age group other than the one to receive the drug. This is medical experimentation and is also arguably medical fraud.
Medical experimentation on humans was famously condemned at the Nuremburg Trials after WWII which resulted in the Nuremberg Code (1947). Yet four of the eleven counts against the Nazi's had to do with toxic inoculations. [The Nazi Doctors and the Nuremberg Code, George J. Annas and Michael A. Grodin, a 1992, pp. 67-93]
The great irony of the Nuremberg Code (which did not appear out of thin air) was that its predecessor in the German Health Code was created in response to botched vaccination experiments. In 1930, Dr. Julius Moses alerted the public to the deaths of 75 children caused by pediatricians in Lubeck, Germany in the course experiments with tuberculosis vaccinations. Guidelines were issued in a Reich Circular on Feb. 28, 1931 entitled: “Regulations on New Therapy and Human Experimentation”. It contained almost all points cited in Nuremberg Code. [ Ibid. , pp. 129.] The Nuremberg Code which prohibits the use of human beings as medical experiments without their informed consent has never been passed as a constitutional amendment in either Germany or the United States and does not yet enjoy the force of law.
Amazingly, 59 years after Nazi Germany we are still very subtly replicating war crimes in the US. Infants and children are compelled by law to receive injections of extremely toxic substances, which according to vaccine package inserts have never been subjected to long term testing ( i.e., are still experimental.) Some may balk at the comparison between US Vaccination Statutes and German concentration camps, but the results are the same. Today we face an epidemic of auto-immune disorders, including autism and infant deaths (SIDS) which are temporally related to vaccination. How many parents today can say that they know what substances were injected into their children? Unless tested before hand you never really know. Vaccination is a mystery that we all still accept on faith.
The Health Officials claim that there is “no proof” that vaccines are causing autism, but it must be kept in mined that they profit financially from this program so the conflicts of interest are enormous. In a letter to me dated 12/20/00, Dr. Eddy A. Bresnitz, MD, MA, New Jersey State Epidemiologist and Asst. Health Commissioner wrote the following:
“First you are right that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides incentive funding to states, up to $100 for each child age-appropriately immunized at two years of age. The actual rate per vaccinated child is based on the overall state immunization rate. The New Jersey Immunization Program received $924,450 and $1,202,869 for use in 1999 and 2000 respectively.”
‘Follow the money' and ‘conflicts of interest' may well become the buzz-words of the new millennium . Hopefully, our whole governmental system will be brought into balance as more and more Americans become sensitive to how these money issues affect their lives in subtle ways. There is no doubt in my mind that our mandatory vaccination policy will collapse under the weight of its own contradictions as it already has in Japan. In the meantime, I fear that many more children will suffer needless vaccine injury and death.
In 1865, we fought a civil war to stop slavery in this country. It was not until one hundred years later that the effects would start to be realized as a result of the de-segregation movements of the sixty's. Similarly, subjects' informed-consent rights in medical experimentation, which is really what we fought WW II for, will not be fully realized until compulsory vaccination laws are overturned in the US.
“The profession as a whole has been committed before now to erroneous doctrines and injurious practices, which have been upheld by its solid authority for generations. Lesage's satire upon blood-letting, in Gil Blas, which appeared in 1715, ought of itself to have made that practice ludicrous in the eyes of the world; but blood-letting survived a hundred years after that in all countries; and in the country of Sangrado it survived a hundred and fifty years. The apology for it, or explanation of its abandonment, which was still being taught in lectures twenty years ago, was that diseases had changed their type from sthenic to asthenic, and that in our asthenic age blood-letting was no longer necessary. It is difficult to conceive what will be the excuse made for a century of cowpoxing; but it cannot be doubted that the practice will appear in as absurd a light to the common sense of the twentieth century as blood-letting now does to us. Vaccination differs, however, from all previous errors of the faculty, in being maintained as the law of the land on the warrant of medical authority. It is my hope that we will overturn mandatory vaccinations laws and the statutes that give no liability to vaccine manufacturers and doctors for vaccine injury and fatalities. Parents need to read the vaccine package inserts and study the actual diseases we vaccinate for. The diseases are in most cases not prevalent or serious (unlike side-effects of vaccination). Parents need to educate themselves about the vaccination exemptions that are available in their state and exercise them. It is my hope that all will read the following information carefully and act on it, so that no one has to learn the lesson of serious vaccine injury or death the hard way.
